Why he didn’t go
Our President was invited to attend the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. He refused to go. After some rather intense criticism, he sent over a video address for the celebration.
Do you remember Obama’s campaign rally in Germany? A vast crowd came out to greet him. He was haled as a new savior of the world. He rewarded this welcome by turning his back on the most significant event in recent German history. Why?
Look as the list of heads of state who were present. All 27 leaders of the Europe Union were there. Former Soviet leader Gorbachev was there. He was accompanied by Russian President Dmitry Medvedev. But Obama could not be bothered. He sent our Secretary of State to an event where dozens of heads of state were present.
Might it be that Obama had a problem attending an event that marked the total failure of the same kind of socialist programs he is currently trying to ram down the throats of an unwilling America? I think that might be the explanation.
