WE WIL BE ABLE TO SET UP IN THE BACK YARD OF THE HOME UNDER THE TREES.

 

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN TELLING THE TRUE HISTORY OF THE SOUTH, THIS WILL PRESENT AN UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY.

Location:   MILLEDGEVILLE, GA
Notes:   We are honored to have History
Professor Anne J. Bailey as our
speaker this year. Professor Bailey
is a Texas native and is the
author of Seven (7) novels on the
War Between the States. We all
should be able to learn from her
presentation.
We will assemble at the
old Governor's mansion from
10:00 A.M. until 10:45 A.M. for
our march to the Capitol.
Promptly at 10:45 A.M. we will
begin our march. The parade to
the Capitol will probably last
around 15 minutes.
The Capitol will be open at 10:00
for those unable to make the short
march. The EC Meeting will follow this event.

Next meeting of Camp 1526 at the community room in First Madison Bank in Colbert.  The meeting will be used to make final preperations for the Colbert Independence Day celebration.    Camp 1526 will have free copies of the Declaration of Independence and Constittion available at our booth.

 
July 3, 2010.  Colbert Inedpendence Day festival.  Be sure to visit us there.
